ZSTa : Little Princess Trust hair cut

Little Princess Trust is a charity that provides real hair wigs for children suffering with hair loss.

On the 16th September our Interior Designer Vicky Willis was about to get a hair cut for this worthy cause.  The Little Princess Trust was launched in 2006 by Hannah Tarplee's parents after Hannah was sadly diagnosed with having Wilms tumour and after a brave battle, died in 2005. Hannah's parents, Wendy and Simon found it hard finding high quality wigs for children and after Hannah's death they decided to launch a charity dedicated to providing specialist real hair children's wigs.

These real hair wigs are provided free to the children the charity assists. When the hair is donated it costs nothing to create and provide the wigs. However, if a suitable donated wig can not be sourced then the trust has to purchase a wig at the cost of £350 on average for one wig. We wanted to help the charity with this cost for another child so we wanted to do a cake sale for the team and the attending BIM Hub meeting members later that day.

With thanks to ZSTa team members and the BIM hub members we managed to raise a total of £241 from the cake sales and Vicky donated 10 inches of her beautiful brunette locks to a worthy cause.
